Who are we?
The Valley Foundation, founded in 1991 as a non-profit community
foundation, focuses its philanthropy solely on the Santa Ynez
Valley and Los Alamos. A
board of nine directors who represent the different communities within the
valleys, governs the Foundation and administers funds contributed by individuals
and businesses. These funds provide grants to local non-profit organizations
that work to improve the quality of life for all who live in the Santa Ynez
Valley and Los Alamos.
Mission Statement
The Valley Foundation improves the lives of people in the Santa Ynez Valley and Los Alamos by investing in programs that feed the poor, promote health, nurture seniors, challenge our youth and inspire the community to make a difference. With the help of caring supporters, the Foundation also builds permanent funds to enhance the quality of life now and for the future.
