HOW TO START GIVING
The Valley Foundation partners with donors to help support important community programs. We help people find the most effective means for “giving back” to their community. Investing with The Valley Foundation offers simplicity, flexibility and tax advantages. Your investment goes to work locally to help meet our community’s challenges now and in the future. ALL donations support programs and activities in the Santa Ynez Valley and Los Alamos exclusively.
1. Any individual who donates $50 or more to The Valley Foundation in a calendar year becomes an Affiliate for that year. Affiliates are kept informed of Foundation activities and are recognized in our newsletter and other publicity.
2. An individual who donates $1,000 or more becomes a member of the Champions of the Valley group and is recognized as a major supporter. These individuals are honored at an annual special function and in print.
3. A business may become a Business Partner with The Valley Foundation for joining the Foundation at one of five levels:
v Partner - $2,500
v Associate - $1,000
v Sponsor - $500
v Supporter - $250
v

Many who live in the Santa Ynez Valley and Los Alamos care deeply about their community. They volunteer and work to improve the lives of all who call it home. Leaving a legacy to your community will help insure that others will live richer lives or be more productive in the future because of you. A gift can be made in your name, anonymously, or in the memory of a loved one. Most gifts to the Foundation are not restricted and become part of the Foundation’s permanent endowment to be used where most needed in the community. There are a number of estate planning professionals in the community that can discuss the best options for you. All gifts to The Valley Foundation will be used exclusively for the Santa Ynez Valley and Los Alamos.
