Community Outreach
The Valley Foundation relies on the generosity of friends and neighbors who contribute annually to the Foundation to help us grow. All contributions are wisely invested in a diverse portfolio and carefully monitored by our Finance Committee.
Affiliates
Anyone who donates $50 or more to The Valley Foundation between
December of one year and November of the following year becomes an
Affiliate for that year. Affiliates are kept informed of Foundation activities via
the newsletter Neighbor Talk and are recognized at the end of the year with
their names listed in newspaper publicity.
There are several other methods for an individual to contribute to The Valley Foundation.
 | Donor Advised Fund - A donor may contribute a lump sum to The Valley Foundation and name the fund in honor of an individual or family. The donor may provide advice on annual distributions. |
| Bequests - Naming The Valley Foundation in your will or living trust will leave a legacy for your community. |
| Beneficiary - One of the simplest ways to
donate is to name The Valley Foundation as a beneficiary of a life insurance
policy or IRA. |
In 2006 The Valley Foundation created a new program to give businesses the opportunity to partner with the Foundation in supporting the community. Each business that elects to join this program receives a decal to display in their place of operation identifying them as a Business Partner. These businesses are listed in newsletters and other printed materials. Members at the Partner and Associate level receive two complimentary tickets to the Man and Woman of the Year banquet.
